Home Visit

Home visits allow us to bring the appointment to you! We know it can be challenging to get out of the house, especially in those early days, and these visits provide you with support where you are most comfortable your own home! Perhaps you are recovering from a cesarean birth and aren’t able to drive quite yet, or you want us to see you feed in your chair in the nursery. Whatever the reason, this is a wonderful option (and our most popular to get started!).

  • Home visits are approximately 75-90 minutes, but never rushed!

  • We bring along everything needed for the appointment, including an infant scale.

  • Available in Halton Region and surrounding areas, including Hamilton, Brantford + Mississauga (please note- mileage fees may apply).

Cost: $170 + HST + mileage (if applicable).

Clinic Visit

Clinic visits are available in Halton Region!

The WOMB (World of my Baby) Burlington
1159 King Road, Burlington ON

  • Clinic visits are approximately 60-90 minutes and are currently with Bianca as Hayley is on mat leave.

  • We provide everything needed for the appointment, including an infant scale and supplies.

  • Visits are one-on-one consultations.

Cost: Initial visit $130 + HST | Follow-Up $100 + HST

What to Expect at Your Visits

Initial Visit

Available in home or clinic setting.

1. History

  • Health history of both mother and baby, including pregnancy and birth

  • “What brings you here today?” Opportunity for you to tell your story

2. Weight

  • Baby’s naked weight

  • Pre- and post-feeding weights

3. Assessment

  • Mother’s breasts and nipples

  • Infant’s oral anatomy

  • Latch

  • Positions, and more

4. Care Plan and Next Steps

  • Care plan created together that you are comfortable with + that aligns with your goals

  • A follow-up visit may be recommended

Follow-up Visit

Available in home or clinic setting.

One-Hour Assessment

  • At follow-up appointments, we will assess progress, address any new concerns and evaluate current care plan in place
